The South is blessed with beautiful lakes, and more are being artificially created each year. But truth be told, you'll discover certain attributes at Lake Greenwood difficult, if not impossible, to duplicate. First, there's the size: 11,000 acres. And then there's the shoreline, at more than 200 miles. There is fishing: perch, crappie, bream, catfish, and more than 250,000 striped bass stocked annually. And let's not forget about the boating: motoring, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing and sailing. Unlike Army Corps of Engineer lakes, Lake Greenwood's water levels are kept very stable and owners have far greater freedom in building on their waterfront property. The lake is lined with tall trees, and has somehow been spared of the crowds plaguing other lakes in the state.
It is here, in this picturesque and tranquil setting, that the Grand Harbor communities are located.
